I never post in this thread, but that Arkadin cover is ATROCIOUS. It`s borderline Alpha releases cover.

The Malle covers are some of the most beautiful covers I've ever seen. I especially like the 3 Films By Louis Malle cover showing him at work. A true genious Malle was.

The Malle covers are very nice. The Mr. Arkadin cover is great, including all the text.

Wow, am I the only one who hates the Arkadin cover?

To my eyes, it looks like the worst cover since the early days of, say, Hopscotch. I may be wrong, though.

I think it looks great. The whole puzzle effect is nice.

I really hope it's digipak, similar to the Ugetsu box, and we're just seeing the outside cover. Someone should email Mulvaney about it...

Well, you are not the only one! I was thinking exactly the same... Maybe it's the first time I really dislike a criterion cover. But I guess, we are the minority.

I'm super looking forward to this one.

I like the Arkadin cover. I just think the text needs to calm down a bit.

I really like the Mr. Arkadin cover, but I think Orson's beard loses a bit of its effect due to the color scheme. This is probably my favorite cover of the last six months.

I have a question unrelated to Mr. Arkadin, but relevant to packaging. Does Bad Timing come in two different cases? The copy I bought the other day at Best Buy came in a clear case, but I thought I had also seen it in a black case.

Why not just go back to Narshty's post on the previous page and hit the quote button in the upper-right hand corner. This will provide you with the URL of the cover-art he posted.

Where it reads "330_box_" you delete the "330" and replace it with whatever spine number you want. Whenever Criterion posts a new cover for a DVD they put the "full_boxshot" up first, before placing the smaller version of the cover-art as a link on their website.

If you don't want to work that much just to check cover art, try Jun-Dai's webpage, or 4LOM's webpage, or hammock's.

I'm a little bored today and decided to do a sticker archive. My goal is to make a complete index of CC stickers (not security strips and barcode strips) and I would need help from other forum members to complete my task. I've scanned the stickers I have from 1-100 and will continue with the remaining 230 during next week. I would highly appreciate receiving scans of stickers not already listed in a resolution of 100 dpi. You can mail them to me at: home(at)liftedhouse(dot)com

Thanks in advance and if you want to see what it will look like before I'm finished you can look here http://www.criterion.frac.dk/stickers

im down with that, dont have a scanner but i'll be able to get em good with my camera. Hammock, if you keep doing this sort of thing, you could have the ultimate criterion catalogue online. keep it up!

I like this, I don't have any stickers to help but I hope others do because that could be a fun resource.

I think the Arkadin cover's okay. It's pretty boring. Nowhere nearly as beautiful as the Viridiana cover, but nowhere near as bad as it could have been.
