I Confess....bluray.com. As much as I've harped on the thin output by Warner Archive, although this year they've gotten off to a terrific start, their transfers are first rate.

They just tweeted out a GIF for Suspicion saying it'll be out real soon, which was expected after the Japanese release

I wonder if To Have and Have Not was licensed to Criterion with The Breaking Point. Would make another great Ernest Hemingway double feature (or triple feature if they also add Don Siegel's The Gun Runners from MGM or even Wetbacks from Ed Wood).

Re: Warner Brothers Archive Collection Blu-rays
Just viewed The Big Sleep, looks wonderful.
FWIW, the preview cut included on this set appears to be an up-res version of the same SD transfer (all taken from the print discovered in WB's vaults - none of it involves the transfer for the theatrical release, much less uses any "seamless branching"). I was initially disappointed by this, but the theatrical version is better, even if it makes a ridiculously plot heavy story a bit harder to untangle. Watching the individual changes in the supplements don't do justice to their impact, you have to watch the entire film - it really changes the dynamic and makes Bogie and Bacall's cooperation (and subsequent falling in love) even more believable.
One thing that I keep forgetting - the number of attractive female characters ready and willing for Bogie to pick them up. The banter is quite entertaining, but it's still very amusing to have this story filled out as a fantasy playground. (And I didn't realize the bookstore clerk across the street was a very young Dorothy Malone! 20, maybe 19 years old when she filmed that part. Couldn't even recognize her with the baby fat and dark hair.)

Bluray.com...Suspicion. It's too bad the MGM Hitchcocks don't look this good.

Just popped in the Blu-Ray for Susan Slept Here and W O W, gorgeous colors and transfer for what is Tashlin's laugh out loud funniest film. So glad Warner Archives' bizarro dart board release schedule paid off with this utterly unexpected delight. Also, there's subs for those who need them, FYI
