Anyone else's Keaton set a bit wonky? The top of the front and back cover has been folded over a bit. Boxset otherwise looks mint.

I have a question about book included with this release - is it glued together properly? Maybe it's just me, but I often have problems with thick booklets. Especially bad one was with "Passion of Joan of Arc" book - it actually fell to pieces after first reading, even though I honestly tried not to open it too wide.

I only read a few sections of it but the book seemed fine in mine, didn't open it that wide but didn't notice any gluing problems either.

I've been working my way through this the past few weeks (didn't get any of the past sets) and I'm having a blast. I hadn't seen any Arbuckle shorts so the 13 or so included were a fascinating introduction. Now I'm almost done with the second disc so I'm finally at the Keaton-starring shorts. I vaguely remember seeing a few shorts like "One Week" and "Hard Luck" when I was a kid at the pre-Cinefamily Silent Movie Theatre so I'm really enjoying revisiting them.

I just bought this and what a great set with a fabulous book. One thing I'm curious of: why are the four discs grouped into three cases, with the third case holding the third and fourth discs? Is there a particular reason the films of discs 3 and 4 should be grouped together?

I'm not aware of any particular reason, but if you look closer on the back of the third case, you'll find "contains 1 x Blu-ray".

My guess is they were aiming to make it a 3x BD-50 set but had to spread them across 4x BD-50 instead, and put the last disc in the last case. Hey, I'm just glad they didn't opt for 2 Amarays each with 2 discs inside - if they had done that, the set most likely wouldn't have had a hard outer box (and instead just a flimsy card slipcover like the Early Murnau, Edvard Munch and Man with a Movie Camera sets).

Question for the board: I have the DVD version of the MoC set and have just now purchased the Blu-Ray version. Is there any reason to keep the DVD set? I'm worried that the book included with the Blu-Ray might have been shortened to make way for the material by Jeffrey Vance. I assume the films on the Blu-Ray are better-quality, but I'm slightly paranoid they might be from slightly different sources from the DVD and have differences in content (though I know the Blu-Ray has more content, in the way of alternate endings and so forth).
