The Stray Cat Rock is in stock currently and available only during the sale. Apparently they found some copies in their warehouse. Shame they couldn't find it sooner before I ordered it from the U. S

Got DePalma's Obsession (only 8 quid, might as well), the My Darling Clementine set and the not-part-of-the-sale-but-already-priced-well Dekalog set since shipping was now free.

Nice of them to clarify that Shivers is the corrected version.

I have never ordered from Arrow directly before but I see some of the titles like Battles without Honor and Humanity and Stray Cat Rock are listed on the website as Region B, when they have also had Region A releases. Are these the same discs or will they be region locked?

I believe all of the dual-territory releases are dual-territory in all regions, except in a case like Pit Stop or similar titles where there was a Region B release years before the Region A release came around.

Stray Cat Rock was one of those early releases, so it's Region B locked.

Hmmm, I didn't get my order in during the last sale as I had the wrong end date in mind, so I figured I'd just wait for the September sale, but none of the three items I wanted that were available last time for £7.99 are discounted this time, even though they're all in stock:
Closely Observed Trains
The Firemen's Ball
Thieves' Highway

Guess I'll see if they show up again in the December sale.

Somebody on blu-ray's forum said their order had it fixed without emailing, but I still haven't had my order process to get points from ~8am EST this morning so can't report for myself.

That's because they're all on offer at HMV right now (£7.99 each). Amazon have matched the price on Closely Observed Trains and Thieves' Highway, if you live abroad and can't order from HMV (as well as a handful of other Academy titles).

It's not part of the sale, but it looks like they've got the Fassbinder set in stock for £74.99- am I misremembering that it was gone for a while? It doesn't seem to be available on amazon or anywhere.

It has always been exclusive to the Arrow store.

Yeah, looks like my best option is a big Amazon order, including the first Woody Allen set, which is priced significantly less than at the Arrow store, and I'd hate to wait too long and have it sell out. I would've preferred to just order directly from Arrow after waiting the past few months to do so, and I even had to do an Amazon Prime trial to be able to get Closely Observed Trains for £7.99 but oh well, I'll get all this stuff one way or another.

I'm sure they'll either be in the next Arrow sale or still that price on Amazon by the time you want to place an order with them. :)

Double points have been attributed to my account for an order from Thursday, without prodding, so order away. Now whether I can get my accidental double order cancelled or not is another matter...

Oh sure, mark it down now after I paid 12 quid for it two weeks ago!

Sadly, I can beat that. I paid £19.99 on 17 Aug 2015. Win some, lose some!

50% off all currently released titles all month long at Grindhouse Video here in Tampa:

http://grindhousevideo.com/t/arrow-video-sale?page=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They're a really tiny indie shop here in Tampa and the person who runs the place is a really good dude, so support a small business and grab some cheap titles!

I'm thinking of using some points to pick up Dekalog during the next Arrow sale. Since it's just under £50 does that mean I get charged for shipping?

Yep. I'd just wait for a sale and pick up a cheap film you like to cross the £50 mark for free shipping. That's what I did

Except you won't get full value for your points if a sale item is included in your order.
