Could the musical notes scattered throughout be a clue for The Music Lovers?

well, they are not randomly scattered throughout.
They are only around the flags.
So they say it's either I am Cuba, or Buena Vista Social Club.

Well the Cuban flag on the left has 6 stripes (incorrect) and the one on the right 5 stripes (correct), whatever that means...

Could also be the flag of Puerto Rico (modelled on the Cuban one)... As the image is in black & white, it's actually impossible to distinguish...

It is possible that the letters together aren't a clue, especially since the letters R and S are incorporated into separate clues as letters.

So, any idea about the groom/taxedo man and T waving?

R together with the stalk would be Stalk-R

yes, but the groom is not part of Stalker.
Or is it? I haven't seen it.

Considering Jeanne Dielman is whipping up dinner in the pic, there's at least one included

As exciting as Sunrise would be, J is probably Before Sunrise/Before Sunset, right?

Since I found this photo from Shawshank redemption, I lean even more towards it for the J clue (prison window, tree and road)

I see the first bluray is from 2008 so maybe there's a new 4k restoration.

Plus, 2016's had Bicylce Thieves and The Exterminating Angel. 2015 I can't remember, and 2014's had Picnic at Hanging Rock and All That Heaven Allows, I think.

The window is not a "prison window," it just has panes. Have none of you ever drawn a window?

I seem to recall there's a least one every year. Don't the drawings refer to films that are expected to be released in the next calendar year (not necessarily those that have yet to be announced)?

Then perhaps the scene in the window is the start of a good morning, Ozu's Good Morning.
