I'm probably the minority, but I love everything the Safdies have done so far. If they are puting out more modern American indie films, I would love for them to release Aaron Katz' Cold Weather, also distributed by IFC, but negelected by them on home video.

I guess between the Safdies film produced by Martin Scorsese and Armando Ianucci's success with Veep, Criterion is probably regretting to pass initially.

I had forgotten Lost in La Mancha was IFC. I was thinking Fulton and Pepe's Brothers of the Head, which would've been maybe their most inexplicable pick-up ever (and I would've been one of the three people to buy it, because it's shot by Anthony Dod Mantle).

Is there a chance they're just going to be publishing some IFC Films 15 year anniversary set or something, or a sister line (a la the Merchant Ivory collection)?

Could this be paired with 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days? Cristian Mungiu wrote and produced Tales From The Golden Age.

Perhaps Fulton & Pepe means Criterion is releasing 12 Monkeys? (they made the making of-doc that's on te earlier releases).

I highly doubt they would include it with 4,3,2, mostly because it's over two hours, and 4 Months would probably be a great seller by itself (or am I just going overboard because I love it and it won the Palme?). Maybe two simultaneous releases

They could have fun with Tales from the Golden Age if they wanted to, by randomizing playback to simulate the originally intended screening format, in which the composition of the film was to be determined by the projectionist - all six episodes were not supposed to be included in a single screening (so it's not actually over two hours long if you watch it as intended.)

François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy and Ludovic Houplain for Logorama (a short) which should be a supplement. For what, is the question?

For what it's worth, today's Filmstruck Short + Feature pairing has matched it with Masculin féminin.

There's also a bunch of directors of more shorts in between the Logorama people and him, so I think a "Criterion Presents Notable Shorts" collection isn't out of the question.

That is a great short, I could also see Criterion releasing Play if they can get the rights.

All from Mr. Polan's drawings so far. No surprises (yet).

^ Those all seem like they could be connected to MGM titles so perhaps a new deal has been struck.
