Or it's just the usual delays with an Academy set - I think the only ones to have made their original releases were Fassbinder and Allen, and those had the separate releases concurrent with the release. Assuming the November sets come out on time, though, that means we're getting four Academy boxes in November (plus the Suzuki set, which just as easily could have been one too)! I do not think you're wise to assume they're looking into adding some additional films as plenty of other sets have been delayed for almost always very boring distribution reasons.

Definitely, but I was just hoping. I just find it weird that considering Group Dziga Vertov made 7 films (8 if you count the reused footage for Here and Elsewhere), with one being included with Tout Va Bien, which leaves six films they made. I just find it weird they won't try hard to include Pravda and just have all the films in one box.
So this isn't going to change, but here is to hoping

I'd love to think so, but a few Arrow boxsets ('Seijun Suzuki: The Early Years', 'Sacha Guitry: Four Films 1936-1938') have just suddenly altogether been pushed back several months, so I'm not getting my hopes up. I suspect they've just overstretched themselves, but who knows...

I just received a notice from DiabolikDVD that they've shipped the Godard/Gorin set to me.

I received my boxed set from Arrow directly, here in the USA. The extras are a bit meatier than I expected: the Godard interview is two hours and eight minutes long (that info is probably out there somewhere, though), and the Michael Witt piece is an hour and a half in its entirety. The book also breaks with Arrow's more recent preference of pictures over text; it is (well) illustrated but the small text dominates the six pieces across the 60 pages.

Yep, got mine from Arrow in surprisingly shitty wrap around cardboard packaging with no protection whatsoever. I could get this from Amazon.co.uk for cheaper and they'll actually tell me when my shit ships too

Mine arrived with the spine and corners of the outer box quite smashed, despite the package being twice too big with lots of poorly placed brown paper to try and avoid the set from moving. Obviously, it didnt work.
To be fair though, it's very rare for me to get smashed up stuff from Arrow.

Got my copy yesterday, too. The package was quite beat up but thankfully the set was in more or less pristine condition. Only had time to glimpse at the individual cases and art last night, but I can't wait to dive into this set and revisit all these films.

On an additional note, I'm going to watch Rocha's Claro (1975) on youtube tonight. I have never seen a Rocha film, but I feel like the best starting point is the probably one starring Juliet Berto.
