I was expecting a Digipak like the Outlaw Gangster set.

That's what I wrote above : I guess slimcases are often perceived by the general audience as of lower quality.Ribs wrote:...you want a set of two slimlines and a booklet? That seems like a pretty flimsy assortment for £40.
I don't mind Amarays being used, especially for smaller sets, but I also see the benefit of slimmer cases. Two of my favourite sets from last year were Four Film Noir Classics (Arrow Academy) and Buster Keaton: Three Films (MoC), and in both cases they wisely decided to use slimmer cases.tenia wrote:That's what I wrote above : I guess slimcases are often perceived by the general audience as of lower quality.Ribs wrote:...you want a set of two slimlines and a booklet? But as swo said : I'll take slimlines wherever I can get them. And I don't care myself for how having slimcases instead of regular in a £40 boxset.
On top of them, with Arrow's current space, it'd be in their favor to help their customers buying all they can from them without having to care about shelf space.
I sorely wish one disc releases without booklets came in the ultra-thin cases that Gaumont use for their a' la demande imprint. They seem to be about a third or maybe two-fifths of the width of a standard DVD case.swo17 wrote:Shelf space being what it is these days, I'll take slimlines wherever I can get them.

The reverse was one of the original postersRibs wrote: Fri Aug 10, 2018 2:07 pm The covers for Children of Men are ghastly - why would the reverse not be literally the only poster/image I’ve ever seen used for it?
