Unfortunately, because Indicator's Fox licenses all compulsorily expire on 30 June 2023 with no possibility of renewal, the standard edition of this film, provisionally scheduled for August, has unavoidably had to be cancelled.

I enjoyed this film a lot more than I was expecting to. The film is incredibly tender in its portrayal of Beatrice's daughters, dealing with a very difficult mother. There's an incredible scene in the middle of the film where the eldest daughter performs a bit of a skit mocking her mother, and I was completely bowled over with how well it was done. The tagline in on the back of the case made me think this would be a loud, piercing film. I was really surprised how sympathetic and almost gentle it was with the characters.
