I thought it was clear in my previous reply to the first and last part if your response. Tarantino typically casts older actors or waits til they age a bit to work with them and has openly said he doesn't like movies all about pretty young people starring pretty young people.

That said I have understood the era and event that there is a lot of young people involved though not super young but it's jarring because I assume everyone who enjoys his work has clearly noticed he doesn't use a large amount of young actors regardless of the type of role so when the cast is pretty equal if not more in the amount of young people to old people I don't think it's so far out to be a little weirded out. But this could be some sort of response to a "pretty people" film in some way and I'm curious to see if it plays out that way.
Death Proof was a "pretty young people film" and Kill Bill had its fair share of attractive young actresses.

I was actually going to touch on that. Even then he tends to cast mature looking actresses though in Death Proof it was a mix of young looking and young but mature looking. Kill Bill only really had pretty people when it came to most of the asian characters.

Well it's pretty clear if you have normal functioning eyes and watch the movies.

And Tarantino was considering casting Jennifer Lawrence in the role of Daisy Domergue in The Hateful Eight before Jennifer Jason Leigh was brought in (and, in fact, Lawrence would have been more believable casting as Channing Tatum's sister, age-wise).

Those look great, nice post Big Ben. Quentin really has a knack for making food and drinks look enticing. That shot of Pacino, Pitt and Leo makes those cherries and Bloody Mary look delicious.

I confess I labored on what photo to post out of the article to the site because I was unsure what people's reactions would be to some of them. I chose the one of Robbie because it was the brightest most cheerful one to me. All of my future attempts to kill the moderation team will continue in this manner. Here's another shot from Vanity Fair with Leo doing his best in a musical number.

Hell, I don't believe Robert Richardson took those photos. But I bet you everything from a diddle-eyed joe to a damned if I know, that Tarantino placed them there.

The first trailer has been approved by the MPAA, so we should be seeing something soon

What’s with this thing where his films are numbered now? I understood why some marketing doofus might have thought it was clever for HATEFUL EIGHT, but it seems obnoxious here.

It looks like a promo for a new series on Showtime.

They did it in marketing for Kill Bill sixteen years ago.
