I doubt it's a glitch. They are probably trying to get people to buy from their U.S site or from Zavvi.

why not just have a zavvi or Amazon link for international customers ready to go on their site, that's literally what they're telling any buyer right now

I think you need to have UK selected for both "Shipping to" and "Region & Language" in the settings box in the upper right corner of the page. Then you'll see the discounted prices. But as a US customer, I can only get discounted prices from the US version of the site, and they only seem to have set up pages for like 0.5% of their catalogue

Their geo blocking of global customers for the UK sale lost them another direct customer, and their website was already putting me off with the last order I made on there (months prior to their migration) when I had to switch to Chrome to be able to process an order in the first place. So I went to Zavvi instead and got Graveyard of Honor, Gamera The Hisei era and Irezumi with 40% off.

Zavvi also seem to be the only option left now for Second Run titles for anyone outside the EU (or do SR ship internationally?). Curses on HMV for not shipping abroad.

Non-UK customers can now be a part of the sale on the UK site. It turns out that the region-lock was due to a technical error that happened when they migrated over to the new website.

A simple statement on social media would have gone a long way towards toning down the venom that was directed at them yesterday when non-Region B customers were locked out. There seems to be a lot of skepticism that The Hut Group is going to maintain Arrow’s level of quality.

Is there a reason so many titles aren't on the Arrow US site? I get why not everything is part of the sale, but I wanted to include The Bloodhound in my order and it's not on there for some reason, even though it's not a limited edition and is in stock elsewhere.

They just barely set up the US site and it's been that meager from the beginning. It doesn't have anything to do with general availability

I don’t think you realise how good you have it being able to even order directly from most UK labels at competitive rates. US labels generally pretend non-US customers aren’t worth even recognising.

Some communication that the sale wasn't meant to be locked would have been appreciated though (and I do wonder if that was really the case or if they changed tack once the backlash started). Ah well, next time I know better and be patient. Arrow's delivery charges are steep at 10 pounds so it'd have been nice to be able to combine yesterday's haul at Zavvi with the Imamura set and The Mad Fox at Arrow today and make the delivery fee a bit more palatable.

I ordered seven Blu-rays, and they arrived today by RM48 "Signed For" - all correct.
I'm still waiting for a shipping email, though. According to their "We've received your order" email:

This email is an acknowledgement of receipt of your order. Your contract to purchase these items is not complete until we send you an email confirming that the items have been dispatched to you.

That happened to me once a few years ago. It's a simple error to resolve if you reach out to them. In my case they told me just to keep the extra copies, though my order was smaller and sending them back would have required international shipping

Utterly infuriating right now. Just getting template responses from customer service with an incorrect/dead url to generate a return label to return the items and no reference to my actual order. I will be contacting my credit card provider by the weekend.
