I thought I noticed the removal of a black screen near the end of the film but wasn't sure, and I had given my old disc to a relative so couldn't check yet. This comparison shows I wasn't crazy, but it also shows there are a handful of new alterations compared to the director's cut on the WB disc (which I always assumed was the same as what was on the Criterion LaserDisc).

The craziest thing I learned from both commentaries on @criterion’s #MenaceIISociety is that the directors intended that Ileana was lying to Caine about her pregnancy, and she was just trying to fleece him for the money for the “abortion.”
