In all earnestness, probably. Schrader is openly provocative in pitching his generational awe at the increasingly-dynamic pivots of political correctness, but he's also transparently and passionately a liberal and even progressively political outside of his provocations at the nature/nurture debates of inherent motivations of gender roles. It's easy to conflate these with conservative ideals, but I doubt Wells would do this, or ignore the digs against his party in favor of the not uncommon trend of Yet Another Boomer With Too Much Internet Access Speaks His Mind. There may not be an equitable amount of 'WTF is wrong with conservatives?' posts as 'What happened to the good ol days where men could compliment women's sensual characteristics?' ones, but the ratio isn't quite as lopsided as one might think

He hasn't for a couple years now at least. I forget if I put this on the forum already, but he was at my NYFF screening of Master Gardener a few rows in front of me, having (like me) paid his way into an Alice Tully Hall seat for the film. His hair was one of the MST3K-esque silhouettes framing my first viewing of the film - no one else looks like him, from the front or from behind

Film critic Glenn Kenny keeps humiliating Jeffrey on his own website and I can't stop laughing about it.Seriously, Kenny humiliates Jeff in the comments on his own website like once a week on average and Jeff does absolutely nothing about it. In fact, he seems to actually enjoy it! What the hell is wrong with him? Does he have a humiliation fetish?

I thought they had a straightforward relationship of just being enemies, but I've recently noticed them actually interacting in civil fashion on social media. Initially I thought they somehow made amends but it's sporadic and in-between these moments someone will lash out at the other. So in short, I have no idea what their relationship's like - complicated I guess?

He bought her a car, gave her loads of cash, married her so she could get a US citizenship and then she dropped him like a hot potato. She completely ruined him financially, which is why Jeff had to move to the East Coast to live in the guest bedroom of a longtime friend, after several decades of living in LA.

And now Jeff wants to have this Russian woman who completely destroyed his life on his new podcast as a recurring guest! What the hell is wrong with him?

You know, after nearly a year of silence in this thread, I had honestly and without exaggeration forgotten that Jeff Wells even existed. This is like hearing a song on the radio that you hadn't thought about in years and otherwise never, ever would have thought about again.
