Inspired by a "true story" as they used to say. This was a very striking and intersting movie. Beautiful shot on digital DV it starts with a kind of B.R.D Fassbinder "Lola"-like filmography through heroin like Katie Tippel or Paul Verhoeven's "Blackbook"
Paula Beer is more than convincing.
There was some excellent reviews (especially commenting Paula Beer's performance in this movie) in French newspaper "Libération".
I was expecting a blu-ray release (not in France certainly; the funny thing is that they announce a DVD-HD release!) - a blu-ray release was planned in Germany; but apparently another sign of no more material release - they will release a DVD; but the Blu-Ray initially announced is canceled (check the comments and the specs announced initially) :

Just a thing : why not VOD only and why release a DVD (which is an obsolete format) and not a Blu-Ray (which is an obsolete format too (I'm a bit sarcastic here); but when you are finally, in the end release a disk, why not a blu-ray) ? (Here I'm not sarcastic
Apparently a Spanish Blu-Ray is announced through Divisa- but are all Spanish from this label some kind of "grey zone" in terms of (c) ?
(I have a few titles imported from Spanish by Divisa; PQ quality is often excellent but I was picky and did some "research" on forums before buying it).
Later, I would like to discuss a little bit this movie, but apparently no one here has opened a thread about it.
