Kevin Jerome Everson's epic, immersive, observational eight-hour doc PARK LANES Blu-ray 2-disc SE is OUT TODAY!!

Everson's film follows workers in an American factory over the course of an eight-hour shift, from clock-in to clock-out, experienced and presented in real time. It explores not just the relationship between film and spectator, but of labourers and their machines.

"An experience both engrossing and bracing. [...] What feels evident in every moment of PARK LANES is its formal and aesthetic rigour. Anyone familiar with Everson’s wider body of work will be aware of how precisely his films employ form and composition and that remains the case even in an eight-hour opus. [...] It’s suitably captivating."

Apropos of Everson’s Park Lanes, here is an 8-hour video of music to accompany the full workday at Lumon Corporation, for Macro Data Refinement on the “severed” floor.

Be sure to check out the chapters.

Currently $7.99 on Amazon, which is almost $1 per hour of the film's runtime :P
