I built a website for recording all the best blurays

#1 Post by vanshady »

Here's the website: https://www.bestblurays.com/ Currently at 1,500+ films included.

You might know me from the TSPDT post which is now in the website too: https://www.bestblurays.com/tspdt

With a website, it has solved many issues with either criterionforum posts or google sheets.
  1. Now you can easily search and check out each film.
  2. It can easily go to cover unlimited number of films without working with forum’s length limit or dragging down performance of google sheets
  3. Instead of ranking by film names, you can also rank by last updated films to see what you missed since your last visit, or filter by directors etc to get a cleaner view.
As always, this is a passion project of mine, but a community project of everyone.
  • I have also incorporated Finch’s great UHD tier lists (or you can just go to each film and see if it’s on the UHD tier lists), and I’m working on adding more lists for example nicolas’s.
  • I have already made a couple contributors here editors, so it won’t be limited to just one person’s bandwidth.
  • If you want to become an editor, or just want to keep connected or make some suggestions here or there, feel free to join our discord https://discord.gg/jvkUGyV6QU
  • More features are coming, for example comments so anyone can contribute. Again please join discord for website discussions.

The new 2025 TSPDT is already out at https://www.theyshootpictures.com/gf1000.htm. I have updated my website to reflect the changes.
