I've received a coupon just once for being a loyal shopper, last year sometime. But I didn't spend any more on a recent sale or anything to prompt that - I think it was just random

I placed mine probably around 12:20 and just got a confirmation less than an hour ago. fwiw i was tinkering around with my payment method (didn't actually change it, but "edited" it and just picked the same card as before) and then immediately got my email. but this may have just been serendipity

I only received a $10 off for being a channel subscriber (expires in a year). I placed orders for both of last year's sales (well over minimum for free shipping), but did not receive a 2nd $10 store loyalty coupon, however I was able to also use the $10 off code I received during the holiday season (December) which did not have an expiration date. After placing my order I received a store loyalty program $50 gift card (for surpassing the $500 in store purchases) which doesn't expire.

I ordered from my phone around 12:30 without a hitch, however all the titles I placed in my cart after midnight had disappeared and I had to re-add everything which was quite a pain on my phone because it bounces you out of your wishlist each time you add and you have to scroll down from the top of the wishlist for each & every add, whereas I could just add everything from my wishlist in one go when I had tried to load up while on my computer the night before.

Thank you all for your replies re coupons. It sounds like you either have to have a channel subscription or you happen to be drawn at random.

I caved and used my $50 GC this evening. 3 more 4Ks. I struck 11 4Ks including the Ranown Westerns and 1 BD off my Criterion account wish list.

always gotta remember they throw us a $10 coupon during the Holiday sale. almost overlooked that - so anyone else who is late getting in an order, don't forget to check for that!

Seven Samurai, 8 1/2, The Wages of Fear, and Secrets and Lies. I would've leaped at Winchester '73 but I'm still a bit miffed they shorted that one on the extras. I opted for upgrades of 3 big favorites (and superior to the UK editions for two of them, judging from all accounts) and I always throw in one random catalog title I missed. went for Secrets and Lies in honor of Hard Truths getting shafted at the Oscars

Got Farewell My Concubine, but I accidentally put the Blu-ray instead of the 4K+Blu-ray in my cart. Emailed them 15 minutes later to see if I can make the change, but they said it was too late! Totally my fault and a silly mistake I won’t repeat again.

I just ordered 4 releases, Seven Samurai 4K, Andrei Rublev, Pandora's Box & Greg Araki box. These are digipacs, so I'm hoping Criterion pack them safely. Does anyone have any info on how Criterion ship their orders? Thanks.

They’ll come in a box, I’m pretty sure they still use the same warehouse fulfillment as DeepDiscount

Channel subscribers check your emails because they sent out a $25 gift code. Unfortunately it seems the expiration dates are here to stay, as this one expires at the end of October.

at the very least, that should cover the next flash sale. very tight window though! but very generous anyway. I'm really grateful for this...the charter subscription has really paid its dividends

On the other hand, I’ve done plenty wrong in life and got a $25 code.

I emailed them. Apparently I lost my charter status somehow by changing from yearly to monthly billing by accident, then back to yearly. So no $25 coupon for me.

that stinks. I was afraid I lost it at one point, because my CC expired at the time of a renew, and their UI was terrible at updating expiration dates. But they got me straightened out and I kept the charter status.

They've been sending me coupons for a little while, and I'd like to use them toward the Wes Anderson collection, but a question for those in the know: How is preorder shipping from Criterion.com? Do they often get titles to you a bit early, or do they ship on release day? If it's a mediocre shipping experience, I might just pocket the coupons for an upcoming sale instead.

I haven't pre-ordered anything in a while, but as I recall they do ship before release date and usually arrive a few days before or directly on release date (I think this part really depends on how far you are from their warehouse.)

I tried this when this was posted but just checked now and the codes I had entered have disappeared along with the items i added in anticipation of the next sale, so keep your codes until you use them!

You do have to get all the way to the Billing & Payment step of checkout to see any "stashed" gift cards. They don't show up at any earlier point in the total/bill summary. But I just checked and the $25 subscriber gift code and the $50 loyalty reward that I added after the last sale are still both on my account...
