Here’s the year’s cheat sheet. Looks like it is going to be another very strong year. Also seems to be the first year when I, personally, was cognizant of films as there’s a few I remember the premiere of.

Was Getting Any? eligible for this year?

One of the best Kitano comedies.

IMDB says it played the BFI London Festival in november '94.

And to be transparent, I don't generally acknowledge festival screenings when a wide release follows unless there is at least some kind of nomination for an award at the festival
