MoC Website

#1 Post by peerpee »

We've got a big brand-spanking new website in the works (it's been in development for months), but I realised I've not updated the NEWS page at the current MoC site for a while, so here's an update.

and three more films by F. W. Murnau, starting with Faust in June.
I've been meaning to pick up the Eureka Last Laugh. Should I wait now?

I was thinking about this myself. I think it's best to wait, the same for Blue Angel me thinks....

The new website is about 3 weeks away.

We do plan on releasing DER LETZTE MANN and DER BLAUE ENGEL in the MoC Series but we haven't scheduled them yet. They definitely won't be released in 2006.

It's worth the wait...

What you're seeing is actually the new MoC site (which is now live, apparently, but not quite fully operational). The list of titles you see includes those that have not yet been released.

New page looks good.

On the index of titles page you should have the spine number (hey, criterion do!).

bye for now.

Finally! A dvd release of Title goes here, arguably the greatest film of the 1980s....

but seriously, I think it could use some images or visuals.... I'm guessing it's not truly finished yet tho.

Well, the new site looks nice, but I wish you could sort by spine, and I do wish that there was a clearer brand separation from Eureka (i.e., I wish the MoC dvds had their own site). Is that something that Eureka has imposed as part of the arrangement, or is it because MoC lacks the resources to develop their own identity (i.e., paying to build its own site, or a distinctive sub-site)?

Where are you looking Jun-dai? The MoC Series microsite hasn't gone live yet.

I assume he's using the link in the above post.

Any chance of a link to the news page you said was up? I can't seem to find it.

Yeah, that's the link I was talking about. Is there a separate microsite in the works?

It's the Masters of Cinema Series microsite at the Eureka site which isn't live yet.

If you click an MoC Series title you should see a "Soon" graphic...

Fingers firmly crossed for a launch in the next 24hrs...
