The Cell's UHD LE is $14.5 on Amazon.com, and the BD equivalent $13.

I highly doubt this is a hot seller, so how are pre-orders not taking priority over more recent orders for the same title? Should I be confident that my order actually will be honored? Given how incompetent Arrow’s customer service is, I’m not sure I can give them the benefit of the doubt.
My God! I don't know which possibility is more disheartening: that I am trapped in an echo chamber with a defective bot which is just repeating the same useless pre-programmed boilerplate auto-response, or if I am dealing with individuals whose grasp of even the rudimentary basics of the English language is entirely non-existent.

"How could this pre-order be out of stock/unshipped, when it was a pre-order? Do pre-orders not take precedence over new orders? How many copies did Arrow stock to begin with? I don't understand how this could have occurred."

Hello Theo,

Thanks for getting in touch about the dispatch date for American Yakuza Limited Edition Blu-ray.

I am sorry that this has not been sent to you yet as it is currently out of stock.

Should you no longer need the item or would like an alternative, I can arrange for this to be cancelled. As the item has not been sent, payment will not have been taken.

If you would like to wait for the item, there is no need for you to take any action and you will receive a confirmation email once it has been dispatched.

Kind regards,

(name redacted)

I do not wish to have my order cancelled, I was asking for an explanation as to the delay. Again, how could this pre-order be out of stock/unshipped, when it was a pre-order? Do pre-orders not take precedence over new orders? How many copies did Arrow stock to begin with? I don't understand how this could have occurred.

You literally just sent me this exact message before. Did you not read my response? Here it is again:

Can you please forward my query to someone who understands the words I am using when I am attempting to ask a specific question? Thank you.
Doubtless the next 'response' will be the same one as before. All of my previous exchanges on a myriad of questions/issues with the 'new' Arrow customer service have been equally fruitless, nonsensical, and circular. Obviously I'm not expecting Shakespeare from a third-world call center, but man is it frustrating. This is life in 2026 I guess, but I've never had any issues communicating in English with ANY other label's customer service department. Arrow has really made a poor choice with whichever lowest-bid CS clownshow operation they lazily and cheaply decided to dump off all responsibility onto. It's a terrible look for them, but obviously no one is minding the store and/or gives a fuck.

I'm sure the CS was all THG's decision that Team Arrow itself had no say over but it doesn't make having to contact these guys any less painful. I cancelled all my preorders for this spring and shifted them to Orbit and Atomic respectively. Arrow's store is fine until you start having an issue with your orders. I lucked out frankly that it was plain sailing with my direct orders for as many years as it has after the THG takeover. But yeah it's mind-blowing that one of the world's best boutique labels is saddled with the most nightmarish and inept customer service.

Arrow continues its website incompetence. My pre-orders (!!) of Inner Space and Soldier are somehow ‘out of stock’, and won’t ship until July 28th! How is this even possible? They are both listed as ‘in stock’ on Arrow’s site. When I pointed this out to ‘customer service’, their response was to offer to cancel the order. When I replied again, noting that their response didn’t address my specific query, the reply to THAT was literally the exact same AI bot boilerplate!

And as I pointed out to them (but they ignored, or, more likely, don’t really grasp the English language), I can’t cancel the items because this was part of a larger order which 1. has already partially been fulfilled, so I’m then losing out on both the shipping savings 2. was paid for partially with my points (the only reason I still order from this dogshit site, other than the fact that orders - when they DO ship - arrive in only two days), point credit I would then assumedly lose with the cancellation. When I asked for clarification on this point, the response was - you guessed it! - the same one they had illiterately copied and pasted in response to the two previous emails I had sent.

What is the likelihood that these two LEs, especially Inner Space, will even still be available to ship in three months?

I would worry more for Innerspace than Soldier.
