I was surprised to get one, since I don’t subscribe to the channel. I guess ordering during the last couple flash sales makes me a loyal customer?

Anyone know if you can use multiple codes on the same order? I still have an older code valid to June. If not, I need to use the new code before late September; maybe they'll have a 4k sale on that month.

Yes, you can use as many as you can get. You can also already load them into your account by just navigating a cart to checkout and putting it in so they are all there when you go in tomorrow.

I noticed that the cart gets emptied every now and then. I’m assuming what I add there now will be there tomorrow…

I had issues stacking coupons last sale, but others didn't, so seems like a crapshoot

I got a coupon too, even though I don’t subscribe to the channel

I believe they have started limiting the codes so that you can only use 1 per coupon campaign per order, e.g. my Channel account is one email and my criterion.com account is another, so I sometimes end up with two codes, but I can only use one of them per order. You can, however, stack codes from two different campaigns.

They've also started expiring codes, but so far they have been good for at least two flash sales, iirc, so I've eventually been able to use all the codes I've received.

I got one code as a "Criterion collector" and another as a "Criterion Channel subscriber"

FYI

One $10 code for subscribing & one $10 code for being a Criterion collector (using the Criterion store, not sure how much/often triggers it). Both of these codes expire 9/23 of this year (most likely before the next sale).

Since last sale, there was also a $10 gift code that went out for the holidays (Dec.) that expires this June, so check your inbox for that one too.

All 3 codes can be applied to a single order.

They waited so long to hold this flash sale that two of my $10 coupons just expired! Oh well, I would have just bought something I don't need anyway.

I’ve done two big orders in the last 12 months, but didn’t get a coupon.

Here’s an odd one…Last night I opened my Criterion account on my laptop and filled up my cart. Then went on my phone and logged-in and the cart was empty 😬

the expiration dates on these codes are new, aren't they? making it much more difficult to save up a bunch for a significant discount, you basically have to use them by the next sale now

This has always been the case for me, fwiw...even loading the cart up morning of doesn't work. I just open tabs for all the titles I want so I can add them to my cart quickly when the sale goes live, if there's anything I suspect will sell out.

I just noticed that His Girl Friday has an MSRP of $59.95, rather than the usual $49.95 for a UHD release? Is that a mistake?

No, it is at a higher price point because of the extra film. Ditto with the standard 2-disc Blu-ray release.

A friend gave me his code and I had my own. Successfully able to stack two.

Captain Blood, Man Who Wasn't There, Night Moves, and You Can Count On Me.

I should get a $50 coupon for reaching 1000 points. Wonder how long it will take to count the points from today‘s order. I’d love to use it on another order during this sale.

Was able to redeem both codes for 4Ks of The Dead, Dead Man, Yi Yi, Captain Blood and 3:10 to Yuma for $112 including PA tax.

I ca now answer my own question: it was instantaneous. $50 gift card was waiting in my inbox, even though my account hasn’t yet registered the new points.

I might be in a similar boat and should have strategised better. What's the free shipping threshold?
