Not even two disc sets like Seven Brides

This is a great chance to stock up on musicals for the list project too!

I avoided these MovieZyng sales in the past after seeing Amazon heavily discount some titles (going below $10), but that hasn't happened with any on my wishlist titles in a very long time, and since shipping has gone down (apparently to a flat rate, even with a large order) and sales tax isn't being charged, I finally went ahead and splurged on a baker's dozen.

I limited myself at eight titles this time. So much going on in March. And there's the Criterion sale coming up.

I'm about to splurge on more than I should. I have Harvey Girls and Summer Stock in the cart, any others that you'd recommend?

I put Yankee Doodle Dandy back since it's not on sale, sadly.

Summer Stock would not be top of my list, tbh. Harvey Girls is a must, and I agree on I Love Melvin. Here’s ten more:

Athena
Good News
Guys and Dolls (if you don’t have the Sinatra box)
Hit the Deck
It’s Always Fair Weather
Lili
Party Girl
Romance on the High Seas
Silk Stockings
Thank Your Lucky Stars

Holy shit. There's finally an American site with non-pisstake shipping to the UK.

I tried to place a WA order with Moviezyng, shipping to the UK, but it wouldn’t give me the discount, though it said the code was valid. Am I missing something?

You have to order 4 or more titles and there’s a handful of 21.99 titles that aren’t eligible for some reason, maybe you had one of those in your cart?

Can confirm I've placed an order to the UK successfully with the code working.

Thanks all. It was because Red Dust wasn’t part of the deal, so I bolted on others that were to get to 4 and ended up buying 9!

Dusty and Sweets McGee will floor you! The transfer isn’t bad at all.

I hope they get the Arrow treatment, but for now, go with Mike’s Murder and The Year of Living Dangerously

It was lots of noir and pre-code. Safe in Hell sounds fantastic.

Still wondering if I should have added The Racket, Mystery Street and Conflict.

Conflict you’re better off getting the four film Bogart set (just released, but will drop in price per title far below MZ’s prices)

I personally don't like any of those enough to own, but I am desperately searching for a title I might've missed. I keep buying WA titles at full price immediately and am now regretting that choice

Every year at this time. Definitely the best way to get US WAC titles to the UK. Keep the order total under £135 though to avoid charges at the border. If you want to order more than that, make multiple orders.

Musical and noir would be my go-to's but I think I have most of them. Happy for any recs, of any genre or era!

I’ll put a word in for They Won’t Believe Me and I Wouldn’t Be in Your Shoes. Fatalistic cheapo noirs in the Detour line.

What's the consensus on Rancho Notorious? Mid or upper-tier Lang?
