Curious if anyone’s seen whether the Going Out Of Print titles are included in the summer sale or discounted separately? I noticed a couple of them haven’t dropped in price yet. Maybe they’re holding back until closer to the August deadline?

Not sure if this is the appropriate place, but Eureka! now charges a flat rate of £10 shipping, at least to the states.

FWIW, it seems we still have free shipping to Denmark (not the case with Indicator, Arrow etc.).

Canada too. I’d say this charge is US-only, due to the recent de minimis changes.Maltic wrote: Wed Sep 03, 2025 5:35 amWhat A Disgrace wrote: Wed Sep 03, 2025 3:26 am Not sure if this is the appropriate place, but Eureka! now charges a flat rate of £10 shipping, at least to the states.

Most likely. Shipping to Australia is still free as well.willoneill wrote: Wed Sep 03, 2025 11:38 amCanada too. Now I'm seeing a flat rate of £6. Huh.

Just went to make an order, and now I'm seeing a £5 shipping rate to Canada.willoneill wrote: Wed Sep 03, 2025 11:38 amCanada too. For those in the US, Valoria Video has the Masters of Cinema 4K edition of Antonioni's La Notte for $28.95. There's a first-time customers coupon for 10% off you can get as well for signing up to their email list. With shipping and the 10% off my order came to about $31.

Hamilton Book has some good deals on a couple of Eureka titles including The Valiant Ones UHD (or Blu-ray) for $10 and the Sonny Chiba Beastfighter two-fer for $12.

I didn't like the film all that much but it is a pity that The Valiant Ones didn't do well commercially. The LE is still on sale on Eureka's site and now those prices elsewhere. No wonder they weren't willing to upgrade the other King Hu ones (at least they weren't a few months after The Valiant Ones was originally released).

Never seen this retailer before. They have some other UK & indie label titles too, though limited selection.

They’re legit, we have a thread for them in the Trades sub forum. They generally get overstock and deleted titles (like if KLSC can no longer sell a title but still have stock, they’ll sell it to Hamilton)

It seems that, compared to Arrow and 88 Films, Eureka just didn't do that great in the US.Finch wrote: Tue Apr 14, 2026 7:30 pm I didn't like the film all that much but it is a pity that The Valiant Ones didn't do well commercially. Indeed, a hard-to-see/never-looked-good classic making the jump to UHD, with great extras etc.
The "themes" section for the film's Wikipedia entry is now a write-up of Jonathan Clemments' booklet essay, so there's that...
