I don't know, the 'jeez' was a little belabored. Well placed smileys. Overall? Good, but I've come to expect better.

More like crap. If anyone else used that many smileys in a post, Matt would delete it.

Glad to see it Nick. I'm quite relieved that the "new" site isn't just a tab on the Eureka site. It looks quite nice, and it isn't doesn't borrow from the way Criterion's site works nearly as much as it might have. I'm a little bit curious about how the "related titles" works. It's a pretty curious feature. The related titles for Sunrise are The Idiot, Vengeance is Mine, and Twenty-Four Eyes.

I love the new look... especially the fact that you have HQ trailers for each release. Thanks.

It's simply not working properly yet! We'll fix it soon.

If I got it right, this page will stay online and be updated regularly, the change was only for the DVD section of it? Would be a shame to lose all these interesting articles.

Yes - www.mastersofcinema.org is a separate website and will continue to be updated regularly.

Thank you Masters Of Cinema. Thank you.
Its certainly surreal, maybe the man himself would approve... but almost certainly not.

Intrigued to see in today's update that forthcoming items include a mention of Melville and Dreyer. Have they got a stake in Vampyr at long last???

You are doing a great work!

Wishing you all the best, and of course I'm hoping for the release of Naruse box set vol. 2.

Nick, I was wondering if MoC ever thought of setting up separate sections for "New Releases" and "Coming Soon" titles similar to Criterion's website. It would be helpful for consumers since the spine numbers and release dates don't always synchronize.

We try and cover this on our NEWS page: http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/moc/

and release dates are down the righthandside at the main Eureka site: http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/

I'm trying to keep on top of the NEWS page so that everything forthcoming and relevant is covered there. Hope that's okay!

I wonder why MOC didn't hold their customary end of year dvd awards!?
Must be snowed under with all those super releases they plan for the year :D

Partly, yes, but it also gets annoying having to ask people not to vote for MoC titles, so we thought we'd merely refer folks to the Beaver poll this year.

Looks like the (Eurkea) site has been redesigned, and it looks very nice.

Is it possible that the MOC website was redesigned slightly and not optimized for firefox (2.0.0.16)? On the newspage the headline is cut off as it reaches the right margin and on the individual movie pages the headlines (Title, Director) are overlapping partially.
I use Arial Unicode MS in 14pt as standard fontface in firefox.

Just noticed that mastersofcinema.org now goes straight to the Eureka page. More info is at the site itself.

Almost had an orgasm reading the word "Gueule" among a pack of mostly french titles. If any company is a perfect candidate for releasing Gueule d'amour, and let's say Nuit de carrefor-- come to the rescue where CC has glaringly failed (christ a platinum-perfect digital videotape of the former already exists from Rene Chateau... not to mention Remorques, which also has a doc on Gremillon; as for the Renoir I'm blindfolded in the dark)-- it's Masters of Cinema.

Nick-- Craig-- Aquarello-- Doug C.-- doesn't Trond lurk around here too?: all you guys, I implore you-- in the name of vitamins and iron and all the minerals of the earth that makes a body rightside up... please release these titles!
