This film thankfully has fallen into the dustbin of history. It appears that people knew how to quit it.

I just hope that this faboo DVD includes some alternate endings and maybe user control over camera angles.

This, sadly, does not prevent them from, ahem, milking the pink pound from this so called 'cultural phenomenon'!

So much for gay men having taste! [-(

I wonder if these highly collectible postcards will include those nudes floating around the internet... :-k

How exactly have you come to this conclusion?

Too bad they couldn't make a pre-Christmas release. This would be perfect for fudge packers, I mean, stocking stuffers.

He's an unimpeachable source, so that settles it.

Wow, this site has now hit an all time low. I'm glad intelligent discussion isn't dead.

It seems apt for this particular film.

If you want intelligent discussion start a thread about Straub Huillet.

Glad to be of service. Seriously, considering the last Brokeback Mountain thread we had, what were you expecting when you clicked on this one?

Man, some people hate humor. I'd hate to be like that.

Lets not get the debate started again when gay posters here have a holier-than-thou attitude towards gay films and that gay films should only be made by gay directors and gay actors. Who do Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal think they are by pretending to be gays? Well, they are actors for a start. Who does Ang Lee think he is by making a gay film. You know any debate is hopeless when gay posters are claiming that Boy Culture (a terrible gay film full of cliches, stereotypes and the worst hammy acting) is better than Brokeback Mountain.

Are you sure you don't want to have the argument again? Sounds like you're chomping at the bit to jumpstart it. Like the Ren & Stimpy SPACE MADNESS routine with the History Eraser button.

My personal opinion is that "This is Spinal Tap" is the greatest film about gay people ever made. The title, the cold sores that David and Nigel share, Nigel's sad stare as Janine swoops in and takes the love of his life away from him... It's all there. A touching, rock filled love story If I ever saw one.

So you are saying that gay movies shouldn't be like this:

And it is rude to talk with your mouth full!

So is the quiche in that video cover meant to be the gay equivalent of the pie in that teen film? (Trying hard not to make any cheesy, crumbly crust jokes) and if it is, is there some kind of definitive list of 'gay' objects similar to the gay news report from The Day Today?
Starting with the roads. The M70, the A3 and the B664 - they are all gay as from midnight tonight.

The gay elements are zinc, potassium, hydrogen, copper and argon.

A quick look at the world's walls. The wailing wall is gay, Hadrien's Wall is very gay, the Great Wall of China is not gay and the Old Wall of London has also stopped being gay.

Gay cars next - they are the same as last night, all Volkswagen's registered between 1982 and 1985. They stay gay for another fortnight.

And finally the gay seas are the Caspian and the Mediterranean so... see you there
