From The Digital Bits:
Warner has officially announced the DVD release of more catalog titles, including Blume in Love, The Clock, Crossing Delancey, Miracle in the Rain and A Summer Place for 2/6/07, with The Butcher Boy, Ginger & Fred, Performance and The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner following on 2/13.
I was unaware that Warner owned this one. Good news, of course.

It's about damned time! I've been asking about this one for years.

I was just about ready to spring for the R2. I'll be buying this for sure.

Got a glimpse at the new Warner disc, and--based on seeing the Italian DVD, which is 1.33:1--this looks cropped at the top and the bottom.

The print looks better than the Italian disc, at least.

Is the Beaver right? Is this supposed to be 1.66:1? The Italian and British discs are 1.33:1 and the Warner is 1.78:1.
