Saw this atrocity at Best Buy and just had to revive the thread:
Unfortunately this is the largest image I was able to find online. But suffice to say this is quite possibly the least imposing "KungFu" image imaginable. Volume 1 is okay by comparison:

And I will post this in reply, as I did before. I think that the Hand Of Death one is worse, but this is pretty terrible. I actually feel ashamed when people come across it while browsing my DVD collection.
At least they picked a sufficiently Cary Grant-esque shot of Chow Yun-Fat, even if he is shooting the case's spine.

Re:Once a Thief
Maybe it looks worse when you see the real deal, but this pic seems ok to me.

That's the same question I asked when that
Infernal Affairs cover was posted on the old forum. Seriously, why is she on the cover and when exactly did she pick up a gun in the movie?

Seeing as folk are posting classic favourites from the old forum, I can't resist posting this again: my alltime favourite worst cover (so far):

1. hooray for the new line under "criterionforum.org"
2. peerpee, you posted a fake "hero" cover once. could you share it with us again?
3. the studio that participated with "repulsion" in the old forum still is really hot:

Couldn't even find a clear cover scan for this one, had to resort to eBay:
That is by FAR the worst DVD cover I've ever seen.

This one is so bad, most dvd sites still have the old cover art on their site.

The cover for Leaves from Satan's Book is so bad I'm considering cancelling my pre-order and just renting this one.
