I'm very interested in picking up a few films to watch but am not sure where to start. I spent a lot of time lurking around the Boutique Label section and that only helped some. I'd very much like to find some exploitation type stuff or just cult films. I've got the Guinea Pig set and enjoyed it only to an extent. Same with Cannibal Holocaust. I'm a big fan of 80's horror and am looking for the same enjoyment I get there combined with a more exploitative feel. I've already sort of crept around the Fulci and Argento playing fields and enjoyed that. I'm not sure where to go now, though. The AB Bava set sounds like a promising direction but that's not going to be out for a few months. Are there any director names or production company's that I should focus on for guiding lines? Also, any comments on Salon Kitty? Just looking at some titles I'm compelled to pick them up if only for the bizarre roles of famous actors/actresses. Klaus Kinski in a Circus horror movie or in an adaptation of Justine?! Anita Ekberg as a depraved nun?!

Suggestions?

I can't say much about Justine other than it having one of the best monologues on film given by the late great Jack Palance.

Salon Kitty has some interesting set pieces but is a bit overlong. It's worth a look.
