Soderbergh's 1993 drama will finally recieves a DVD release on 28th May in the UK.

No R1 edition - in fact, this will be the first-ever DVD release anywhere in the world.

Yeah, I really dig the dude, too, though I have not seen King Of The Hill due to the lack of DVD, so this was a most welcome discovery today.

Also, in case you didn't know, Kafka is available in France, Sweden and (for less money) Germany, the former was reviewed by DVD Beaver. Why a UK or US edition has yet to appear may be due to the rumour that Soderbergh has considered re-editing the film.

The last I heard, Soderbergh was going to recut Kafka and present both edits on DVD sometime in the next year or so (at least that's what he said in an interview I read a couple months ago)
