I wasn't even aware a new DVD was coming out of this, much less a "collector's blood bag!" Has anyone heard anything about this? I've never seen an uncut version of the film. This will most likely go on my steadily growing June sale list.

For those who don't have the time or patience to try to figure out what the hell he's talking about.

I haven't actually watched it, but one came through the store and the blood bag is cool-looking. However, the bonus features don't look that exciting.

is the bag anything like the blood gnomes packaging, clear with actual liquid inside? Or is it just printed?

I haven't seen the packaging you're talking about, but it's a clear sleeve with actual fake blood inside (the blood doesn't touch the discs). The bag comes packaged inside a thin clear plastic box so you can put it on your shelf. The DVDs also appear to be thrown in the same pouch, so there's probably a good chance of them getting scratched up.

Slayer did something like this years ago, and if I remember correctly, the fake blood eventually dries up inside the bag (so buyer beware).

Haven't decided on whether or not I'm buying this. I know it's in my top 15 but the features are really going to decide it for me.

Picked this up in the recent DDD sale, awesome, some of the most unique and cool-looking packaging I've seen. Discs are separated inside the blood bag, with an individual pocket / slip for each, so no chance of scratching. They are however impossible to remove without getting fingerprints on them.

Selling my R2 UK SE as we speak, out with the old...
