The DVD Journal is ceasing publishing new reviews and info on release dates. They wrapped things up last week with a look back on the first decade of DVDs. *edit* which is well worth your time.

They were always one of the first sites I checked when getting to work on Monday morning.

I wonder is this, too, is a sign of things to come.

Was there a web sit called CLASSICS ON DVD? I thought i saw it a couple of times where they would review classic dvd releases but i do not find it any more. :(

No, this is what he means. They stopped posting reviews more than a year ago and domain disappeared just recently.

Well, it appears that DavisDVD has also ceased operations, or at least is on indefinite hiatus. This is a shame considering DVD Journal and DavisDVD were my two favorite DVD websites.
