Anybody know anything about this? It was the primary production company for Cadillac Records, but that's all I can find out about it, except that's its only credit. (IMDb has a IMDb Pro article on it but I thought I might find it here for free.
In any case I'm excited about the concept implied by the name. I believe music, particularly in recent years has become somewhat inferior and underused compared to what it could be, in large part because the fear or revulsion by so many to the "M" word. But music can play a large part in a movie, not only the classic musical (which has made a minor comeback) to just effective mood setting. The best demonstration for the possible other emotive uses for music in film outside the musical, for me, was 2001--which was built on what Disney did withFantasia decades before.
I hope CR's poor box office doesn't lead them to abandon the concept. (Of course they might have tried promoting it a little better.
