I dunno, I am actually looking forward to seeing Semi-Pro. It looks like it'll be a lot of fun -- esp. the basketball scenes. Plus, Woody Harrelson looks like he's having a blast and can be a lot of fun to watch with the right material.
But Ferrell's gonna have a hard time topping Anchorman.

I have a deep and abiding love for the lore and history of that freakshow known as the American Basketball Association, and their far-out invention the red, white, and blue ball. And a fair amount of tolerance for Ferrell and generic Apatowism. I tend to doubt they've absorbed everything that made the ABA great (Marvin Barnes! Connie Hawkins! Darnell Hillman's hair! Arrest warrants! Floridians cheerleaders in bikinis! The entirety of the San Diego Conquistadors!), but I can't help but be in the bag for this.Marcel Gioberti wrote:So am I.Antoine Doinel wrote:I am completely and unapologetically looking forward to this.
I'm trying to stop waxing nostalgic long enough to hit the submit button on this post, but then something else flashes through my head - for instance, I just remembered the back of Louie Dampier's Kentucky Colonels card informing us that "Louie's favorite food is liver and onions."
So yes, I'm down for this.
