The thing that bugged me the most didn't have anything to do with the film itself, but rather -- walking into the theatre, ahead of me was this family -- mom, dad, older teenage son and another son who could not have been more than seven or eight years old. I had to bite my tongue to keep from saying something -- but come on people, films like this just aren't made for little kids. Hell, I love outrageous and gratuitous ultra violent films as much as the next film geek -- and Wanted certainly fulfills the edict 'nothing exceeds like excess' to an out of control and way over the top degree -- I just don't think little kids should see this kind of extreme bodily violence. Anyway...so it goes.
Don't get all the slagging on Angelina, she's not that bad of an actress. Here's what she says about Wanted in the current Vanity Fair:
I liked her better in this than Mr. and Mrs. Smith, that's for sure.Angelina Jolie wrote:...because I had just done A Mighty Heart and was scheduled to do Changeling, which is about the kidnapping of a child. And I had lost my mom. And I knew I was in this odd, fuzzy state going from one loss and kidnapping to another loss and kidnapping. Then Wanted came along. It’s about being physical and jumping and running and being violent, and instinctively I knew I needed to do that.
Um, what makes you say that?moviscop wrote:jolie def had a butt double too...
