Hah! Never thought I'd see anyone, let alone a DVD cover, steal a Schwarzenegger one-liner from Last Action Hero.CSM126 wrote:Legit laugh out loud for this one. "No Sequel for you". NO SHIT. It's a self-reviewing movie!

So is the killer some guy dubbed "The Sequel Nazi" and does he say "No Sequel for You!" when he kills them?

That is one of the most bizarrely proportioned images I've ever seen. It's like they cut out a third of her body in order to move those [badly Photoshopped] thighs onto the cover. 8-[

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. And now...I can't look away.

Any child would be terrified of this film if they saw that fucking Panda.

There's a strangely ambiguous sense of nudity about those figures.
Tuck in your invisible 'nads, o sinister Pandabear.

I didn't know pandas dressed in jazzercise outfits when they want to fight.

Pandas don't wear jazzercise outfits. And when they do, you don't know about it.oldsheperd wrote:I didn't know pandas dressed in jazzercise outfits when they want to fight.

HAHA. I was going to mention those strange tree-trunk legs yesterday but you've articulated it better than I ever could. I guess Blood Fart Lake is what hemorrhoidded cabbies left behind when they went to swim on their summer get-together/cookout.

I'm with the lady in the upper left corner of that last one: the cover does indeed make me want to cut my own throat.

Aside from everything else, I like how they used the basic lasso tool in photoshop to get all the heads and cut a big gash out of Robert Morley's dome. I'm also going to imagine the designer had told a friend he was doing the cover for a Bogart movie, the friend excitedly told him he had the perfect picture for it, later printed it out--the ink cartridge was running low and only had red pigment left, you see--then promptly xeroxed it and faxed it over.

Yep, that's the worst cover I've ever seen, although the Repulsion cover is a very close second.

When I struggle up off the floor after the ambulance leaves, I swear I'll have a comment about that Bogart.

I think RobertAltman deserves a medal (or something - maybe that unspeakable handmedown whatsit I got from you last year, Schreck?). Does this mean we have to lock the thread now?
