As much as I disliked the film, I have enough respect for it to feel somebody should be strung up for this atrocity:

I'm not sure where I should start with my rant. Oh yes, Danny Dyer...

A bit misleading when Dyer isn't playing the title character, more of a supporting role. It makes as much sense as putting a picture of Lesley Manville on there to draw in the Mike Leigh crowd would.

The words "Danny Dyer" and "punch in the face" do go together quite well though.

Diane Ladd ... Rip Torn ... Cloris Leachman ... Bruce Dern ... Peter Falk ...
That's goota be a record for the number of careers-in-trouble in a single movie.
And who knew?
(Now Val Kilmer we knew about ... )

Isn't Peter Falk senile now? That's just unfair to put him in a movie while his mind is lost.

Wasn't Burgess Meredith pretty far gone with Alzheimers when he made the GRUMPY OLD MEN movies?

Burgess was pretty well gone by the time he finished his last episode of IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT (he had a semi-recurring, maybe twice a year at most, role as ... a slightly senile, eccentric old judge!) in the two hour season opener of the 93/94 season. So far gone he didn't even recognize new cast member Carl Weathers from their three ROCKY movies! He had two assistants/companions who accompanied him on all his acting gigs: one older, senior one who had been his stand-in/photo double for many years and a much younger 20-something who did most of the leg work. This included making two sets of large lettered cue cards to be held on either side of camera. I would have loved to have spoken with him a few minutes for one last time but he appeared to have finally become the frail old Magoo he played on his old friend's series.

That is some grotesque business right there. And the three billed actors' names all read like vaguely porno-y pseudonyms. How far the mighty Nickelodeon has fallen.

A truly awful cover for a decent Jean Rollin film:

I was unaware that there was any such thing as a decent Jean Rollin film...

Have you ever been into a halal restaurant? They've always got one of those, it's a stack of meat that gets shaved off into sandwiches.
