Whoa, does it have English subtitles and where can I find it?! Martin Picard is a personal hero even though I can't cook to save my life.bearcuborg wrote:Ah, it all comes together. The hostess who was working during my visit was the hottest woman I ever saw. Then again, Montreal is a monumental babe city. You could throw a rock down a street in Montreal and hit a hot chick. The hostess at Joe Beef was gorgeous too. As good as both places were, I had better meals at L'express and Rotisserie Romados. Oh, Schwartz's too. Man, gotta visit again.mfunk9786 wrote: Probably the most fun we've ever had at a restaurant, to be honest. The hostess who was stationed pretty close to our table was horrified (Montreal restaurants famously hire from modeling agencies for front of house staff)
This DVD is a lot of fun, and has Ralph Steadman inspired art for DVD menus.
We went to the sugar shack at his farm this year and it is a truly exceptional gastronomical experience, done for the love of food (and celebration of the maple syrup harvest) rather than profit. It is remarkably cheap for a metric ton of outrageously decadent food in a lovely setting.
And as for the look of women in Montreal: It is unbelievable. I have a notoriously bad filter for pointing out exceptional human specimens to my very understanding and mutually titillated wife and we reached a point on one of our trips where she had to give me an "Okay, you have to cool it." It's a hyper-beautiful universe there; even during the dead of winter so many women (and men) are fit, fashionable, and well put together.
