Peter Falk and Alan Arkin make for a hilarious dream team in this beloved American sidesplitter. Fueled by elaborate stunt work and the laconic, naturalistic charms of its two stars, The In-Laws deserves its status as a madcap classic—and has continued to draw ardent fans in the years since its release.

The In-Laws
The In-Laws is presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Black bars at the top and bottom of the screen are normal for this format. This digital transfer was created in 2K resolution on a Director film scanner from the 35mm interpositive. Thousands of instances of dirt, debris, scratches, splices, and warps were manually removed using the MTI Film’s DRS, while Digital Vision’s Phoenix was used for small dirt, grain, noise management, jitter, and flicker.
The original monaural soundtrack was remastered from the original 35mm magnetic tracks. Clicks, thumps, hiss, hum, and crackle were manually removed using Pro Tools HD and iZotope RX 4.
